After a substance has been added to the existing chemical inventory, other companies can manufacture, import or use the same substance without additional registrations.<\/p>\n<p>There are two lists in Canada:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Household Substance List (DSL)<\/li>\n<li>List of Non-Domestic Substances (NDSL).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>DSL is the only standard by which a substance is judged &#8220;new&#8221; in Canada.
